On behalf of the Board, I am pleased to present SEGAN’s vision to redefine Malaysia’s gold mining industry through responsible practices, strong governance, and sustainable value creation.

SEGAN was founded by a team of professionals with deep expertise in capital markets and a proven track record in the local gold mining sector. We recognized a clear gap in Malaysia’s mining landscape — the absence of a modern, transparent, and investor-accessible platform for gold resource development. SEGAN was established to address this gap and to introduce global best practices that align with the expectations of today’s investors and stakeholders.

The Board believes that the current bullish outlook for gold presents a compelling opportunity to develop a new generation of responsible mining operations. Gold continues to serve as a strategic store of value and a hedge against economic uncertainty, and Malaysia remains an underrepresented yet promising jurisdiction for gold mining investment.

Our commitment extends beyond financial performance. SEGAN integrates Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles into every aspect of our operations. We are dedicated to minimizing environmental impact, safeguarding the wellbeing of our workforce, supporting local communities, and upholding the highest standards of transparency, ethics, and regulatory compliance.

A key milestone in our strategic roadmap is the pursuit of a junior mining listing on Bursa Malaysia. This model, widely adopted on the Australian Securities Exchange and Toronto Stock Exchange, has yet to be pioneered in Malaysia. We believe this initiative will broaden investor participation, strengthen governance standards, and position Malaysia as a competitive destination for mining investment.

As Chairman, I am confident that SEGAN is well positioned to lead a new era of responsible gold mining in Malaysia. With a clear strategy, strong governance framework, and unwavering commitment to sustainability, we aim to deliver long-term value to our shareholders while contributing positively to the nation’s economic development.
