NIK AZIHAN HUSAIN [Chairman & CEO, SEGAN]
Nik has over 30 years of experience in capital markets, corporate advisory, and structured finance. A graduate of York University, Toronto, he previously held roles with Arab-Malaysian Merchant Bank, Shell Malaysia Berhad, CIMB Securities, and Maybank Securities.
In 2008, he founded ZNS Mining Sdn Bhd, building a portfolio of gold mining assets in Kelantan that was later divested to a Singapore-based private group. He remains active in corporate advisory and IPO initiatives, including SOCC Holdings Sdn Berhad targeting listing on Bursa Malaysia.
SHAMSUL ARIF HARUNA [VP Exploration & Resources Development]
Shamsul holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia and has over 20 years of experience in mineral exploration and mining operations.
He has worked on major gold projects including the Penjom Gold Mine and Selinsing Gold Mine, contributing to exploration, mine planning, and production strategies.
He previously served as Exploration & Geology Manager at Bahvest Resources Berhad, where he helped prepare the JORC report for the Bukit Mantri project and supported the development of the CIL processing plant.
Shamsul also used to serve as the Chief Geologist for Borneo Oil Group and Southern Alliance Mining Ltd.
